OUR
Story
On 1903, the one room schoolhouse opened adjacent to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ratcliff, Arkansas. There were approximately 20 to 30 students, grades 1 to 8. It was the only school in the area, and was attended by many students until it closed in the 60s. It had been a school for fifty seven years!
After the school was closed, it was used as an activity center for the church. Then an addition of a kitchen area was done in the 1960s.

Several re-constructions and improvements later, the decision to rebuild a new activity center and to completely tear the old schoolhouse down, or have it moved, was made early 2018.
After posting online that it was available, we were able to contact Julie Rochester to make arrangements to have it moved to a property on the mountain, to be renovated into becoming a wedding chapel and venue for many various occasions.
